A true testament to Italian craftsmanship our Rivetti Norwegian welted hiker showcases premium burgundy calf leather, antique finished by hand.

A Norwegian welt is a favoured construction for hikers, as it provides extra stability and protection, with the leather welt covering the join between the upper and sole; we’ve opted for the St Moritz rubber outsole, which has a practical cleated tread with a created rubber top-piece on the leather stacked heel.

The boots are made and then washed in giant washing machines to give a vintage finish, before rigorous hand polishing. The classic Derby cut upper has a padded suede collar. Three antiqued brass top D-rings keep a good flexible fit and make the boots quick and easy to pull on and take off, with an additional leather back pull tab. As you’d expect we’ve included a full calf leather lining and insock.
