Rishworth Navy

A true classic, the Pea Coat was originally worn by sailors in the Netherlands in the 18th Century, and was designed to withstand the extreme weather conditions they had to endure. With a large, high collar and buttoned lapel for protection, and hand warmer pockets, the style was cut shorter and flared at the hips to allow greater movement for climbing the rigging. The styling has remained largely the same ever since. Our Rishworth version, is in traditional 800gm wool blend melton, and features a quilted lining for added protection from the elements.
