Our pristine Italian loafer has a smart look with a casual, unstructured feel. A minimal stiffener in the toe and heel provide just enough structure, leaving the rest of the upper soft and supple. The vamp is formed of one beautiful piece of reversed calf suede from the famous Steads Tannery in Leeds, with a ‘roped’ apron seam (the rope is stitched under the suede creating consistency across the upper and a neat finish). ‘Reversed suede’ is full grain leather, with the fine nap suede on the outer side and the leather on the underside. We’ve included a full leather insock with cushioned heel and a leather bound topline and heel counter. The slim profile leather sole has a low stack heel, tipped with a rubber top-piece for extra practicality.
