Montilla Stone

Our ‘elite’ Spanish espadrilles are in a league of their own. Hand stitched in Spain with a supremely soft fine napped neutral stone suede, Montilla is a loafer design with a hand stitched apron, a cushioned leather insock and a calf leather lining for some structure at the front, with a soft suede lining at the heel, to allow the back to be trodden down if required (or worn on the heel if preferred). Aside from the elegant appearance the construction creates concealed practicality. The sole is formed from rubber wrapped in jute and secured with a side stitch with a textured rubber outsole. We’ve selected a premium rich brown natural woven jute, darker than standard, to create an altogether elevated look.
